Nut allergies

16 years ago at the age of 2 my youngest sister developed severe allergies to tree nuts and peanuts and has carried an epipen ever since. No one else in our family had any food allergies (she is the youngest of 4 girls).

Years later after starting my own family, I decided to set up a company to supply gorgeous allergy-friendly chocolate to the UK and was lucky enough to discover Dammenberg in Finland, whose chocolates were everything I was hoping to find and much more.

I launched No Nuts...just Chocolate (www.nonutsjustchocolate.com) in January 2008 and less than 3 months later my 13 month old son had a serious allergic reaction to eggs. We now have our fingers crossed that he will grow out of this allergy quite quickly and will not develop any other allergies. Time will tell, but at least he will never want for gorgeous chocolate!
